In the past Toyota vehicles equipped with Vehicle Skid Control (VSC) also had Traction Control (TRAC), like it or not, as an added feature. The traction control could be turned off or on using a switch located on the dash. The FR-S has the same feature plus some added, letting it be driven in a more aggressive fashion. The Scion brand is a wholly-owned division of Toyota Motor Corp. sold in the North American market only primarily marked to "Generation Y". The FR-S is a front engine, rear wheel drive, sport type car; thus the name FR-S.
